Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin’s manoeuvrings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit – and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords – and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
I really enjoyed this book, and the Inner Circle is just as amazing as it was in the last book.
I had a hard time putting this book down. I wanted to just sit and read it from start to finish. And for the most part, that is what I did 🙂
I did have some problems with the book. The biggest issue would have to be the sex scenes. There were enough of these scenes that I just rolled my eyes and skipped over them.
Nesta really came into her own in this book, which is great for her… But I still have problems with her attitude, and I haven’t gotten over how she acted in the first two books. There is only so much forgiveness to go around.
It’s the same with Tamlin. I am not sure where I stand with him. I want to move on, and get over the last book but I am still steaming about everything he said and did. I can’t flip flop like that. It is going to take a lot more than a couple scenes.
Also “vulgar gesture” is a phrased that is used way to much. WAY to much.
Sarah Maas is really good at fleshing out her characters. There were all unique and their own person. I really felt a connection with them, and I am not going to lie, I shed some tears.
